Woo! I managed to get these up in about a month away from the actual date. This says a lot since my Fanime ’11 videos are about 10 months late… So here they are!
So on February 18, 2012, Yuji, J-Man, Cake Mix, Yibu, and I attended Animation On Display (AOD) in Japantown, San Francisco. I’m 95% done with the AOD video and 50% done with the photoshoot video so they’ll be up before the end of March (hopefully). So far, the only thing of relevance is this one photo of me as Shoichi Irie from Katekyou Hitman Reborn! (Click the photo to be directed to original link)

Who is this Tsubasa you speak of? heh. I’ve changed my cosplay name to Jun and I’m sticking with it. I chose the name Tsubasa when I was back in middle school because I thought it sounded cool but now I don’t like it anymore… = n =; I don’t know why I suddenly don’t, but one of the reasons is because my cosplay group has this running joke of calling me “Captain Tsubasa” since:
1. I love soccer themes
2. Captain Tsubasa is a soccer manga
3. I happen to be Crew Leader of ATCC = Captain
4. Calling me Captain Tsubasa just seemed so appropriate…

MY NAME IS JUN. PLEASE CALL ME JUN FROM NOW ON.
I’m not going to change it since this name is actually special to me. It’s basically a Japanese version of my Chinese name. And the way it sounds really appeals to me. It’s short too. And for once, people can’t laugh at my cosplay name /cough/. Also, it’s a unisex name (I like being called with a boy’s name) so it all works out. That’s about it.

Everyone has been looking forward to summer vacation to shoot videos and work on cosplay but the opposite has happened again. We pretty much have no time this summer (possibly next summer then?) to make videos…What a downer. But despite that, we had a ton of fun at Fanime 2011! It was fun meeting new people there!
I’m currently in the middle of editing our Fanime videos…Oh and besides that, we held a small photoshoot on the last day of school in…a classroom setting! Yay! It was our first real photoshoot but due to some mistakes I made, only Yuji, Rika, Euphoria, and I(Tsubasa) was able to go. That’s about it for now! Ciao!
